President Omer Al-Bashir reiterated Sudan government's refusal of all forms of political blackmail and pressure exerted by anti-Sudan international powers.
While addressing a delegation from the Arab Lawyers Union yesterday, Al-Bashir said that the intention behind what is happening now is to impede the upcoming electoral process, of which the people will vote in favor of the current government, as he put it.
For his part, the Secretary General of the Arab League Amru Mousa, expressed confidence in making a positive progress in the crisis between Sudan and the International Criminal Court after revealing the content of a plan prepared during the recent emergency meeting of the Arab Foreign Ministers on Saturday in Cairo.
Moussa's statements came following a series of meetings held yesterday in Khartoum with both head of Umma Party Sadiq Al-Mahdi, and the Joint Special Representative of UNAMID Rodolphe Adada.
On the other hand, the Sudan Liberation Movement-Abdel Wahid Nour faction criticized the efforts of the Arab League to resolve the crisis between the government and the International Court. The movement's Spokesperson Yahia Bolad, expressed his regret to Miraya FM on this step, which did not take into consideration the victims of war crimes, as he put it.
