Al-Mahdi warns: No Somalization for Sudan |

Mr. Al-Mahadi warned escalation of the situation saying that this might turn Sudan into a new Somalia.
In the same context, the leading member in the national congress party Omar Adam Rahama told Miraya Fm that the political forces have agreed in its meeting yesterday, to join efforts to end the Darfur Crisis For his part, the head of the UNAMID Rodolf Adada denied what the media has reported recently about mission’s evacuation from Darfur.
Mr. Adada added that the mission has nothing to do with the ICC crises.
He affirmed that the mission is committed to achieve peace and stability in the region. The Egyptian President Husni Mubarak asked his American counterpart George Bush to interfere and terminate the ICC procedures in order support peace and stability in Darfur.Meanwhile, The Senegalese President Abdullah Wad said that the American President Bush told the African leaders that the United States might overlook the international security and send troops to Darfur if the Sudanese authorities do not stop what Bush described as genocide in Darfur.
President Bush has appointed the expert in Development George Simon as an envoy to the Africans.
The appointment comes while the African Union is exerting pressure on President Bush to be more critical about the policies of the Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabi.
