UNAMID peacekeeper shot dead |

UNAMID peacekeeper was shot dead yesterday in the western Darfur State.
The Public Relations personnel of the joint United Nations/African Union Mission in Darfur George Oala, told Miraya FM that some unknown armed men attacked a UNAMID convoy in the area of Forobaranga whilst on patrol in West Darfur, and shot down one soldier.
Oala added that the mission started an investigation into the incident.
