Partners refer Abyei for international arbitration |

The SPLM confirmed that representatives from the National Congress Party and the movement” are on their way to the Hague” to submit the Abyei agreement on international arbitration.
Speaking to the press in Juba the SPLM Deputy Secretary General for Northern Sector Yasir Arman affirmed that the Vice President of the Republic Ali Osman Taha and the vice President of the Southern Sudan Dr. Riek Machar have signed the arbitration agreement.
However Arman expressed his concern that possible delay in forming the Abyei administration “may affect the Abyei protocol negatively”.
