Spokesman of JDB confirms withdrawal from Abyei |

The Spokesman of the Joint Defense Board, Maj. Gen Bior Ajang, confirmed that the SPLA and the Sudan Armed Forces have already started to withdraw from Abyei.
Speaking to Miraya FM, he said that 50 soldiers of the Sudan Armed Forces have moved out of the area while the SPLA has withdrawn a force that amounts to a brigade.
He pointed out that the deployment of the Joint Integrated Units in Abyei is going as planned.
