The Joint Six-man Committee continuous its meetings on Abyei |

The meeting of the Joint Six-man Committee between the National Congress Party and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement has started today in Juba to discuss the unresolved issues over Abyei.
The Spokesperson of the Committee Al-Dirdiri Muhammad Ahmad said that the meetings will cover the remaining issues of the Abyei Roadmap agreement, among which are the issues of formation of a Joint Interim administration in the area, and the procedures of the international arbitration.
The Sudan People’s Liberation Army (SPLA) had earlier accused the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) of falling two days behind of the scheduled withdrawal deadline from Abyei.
