The Sudanese government has accepted the Congolese mediation to end the conflict with Chad.
The declaration was made during a meeting between the Presidents Omer Al-Bashir and Danis Sassou Nguesso, who began his visit to the country yesterday.
President Nguesso who chaired the last session of the African Union; had participated previously in mediating between the two neighbors.
It is worth mentioning, that there were mediation efforts to bring the Presidents of the two neighboring countries together, on the sidelines of the African Union Summit which concluded yesterday in Sharm El-Sheikh, but these efforts had failed.
