UN police trains 40 of Wau police PDF Print E-mail

policetrain.jpgThe UN police in collaboration with the south Sudan police in western bahr el-Ghazal State have graduated over 40 members of the police in Wau today. The trainees received skills on how to protect very important persons (VIPs).

Speaking at the graduation ceremony the Acting Governor of western Bahr el-Ghazal State Awad Juma Aman directed the police forces to protect the people and their property.  
 
Both the Acting Governor Awad Juma Aman and the Director of the Police in Western Bahr el-Ghazal State Major Gen. Francis Marial abur have appreciated the role played by the UN police and called on UN Police to continue in providing skills to the local police.
