Alor urges France to reduce tension between Sudan and Chad |

The Sudanese Foreign Minister Deng Alor urged France to play a role in reducing the tension between Khartoum and N'djamena.
Mr. Alor said that Sudan is not in war with Chad. He was speaking after meeting his French counterpart Bernard Kouchner in Paris.
However, Mr. Kouchner said that his country has a military cooperation accord with Chad, but he denied the allegation that France is helping Chad with military support.
