KU Students Union delays union’s elections |

The Election Committee of the Khartoum University Students Union decided to postpone the union’s elections scheduled to take place next week.
The postponement came after the recent violence between the students themselves which left more than thirty injured and the university property destroyed.
Speaking to Miraya FM, the Secretary of the Committee Luis Aweil, said that the violence erupted after differences among the students affiliated to the National Congress Party and Darfur. Mr. Awiel said that the authorities arrested a lot of students.
