Sudan rejected the American decision of suspending talks between the two countries.
The US earlier said that it suspended the talks because “the leadership of both sides on the Abyei crisis is not serious with peace”.
The Presidential advisor Nafie Ali Nafie, who is heading the Sudanese delegation to the Sudanese/American talks, said that Sudan will never accept imposed solutions on Abyei.
The US special envoy to Sudan, Richard Williamson earlier said that the failure to resolve the Abyei crisis is a threat to the Comprehensive Peace Agreement signed in 2005.
