SUNA: Authorities arrest figure of JEM |

The Sudan News Agency (SUNA) reported that Security Authorities arrested on Wednesday the third top person and the field commander of the Justice and Equality Movement, Abdel Aziz Ashr.
Abdel Aziz Ashr is reportedly to be the half brother of the leader of the Justice and Equality Movement, Dr. Khalil Ibrahim.
SUNA reported that Mr. Ashr was arrested in Halfa Jedida in Eastern Sudan on his way to Eritrea.
The Agency reported that Ashr participated in the recent Omdurman attacks launched by the Justice and Equality Movement.
