WFP announces food aid reduction in Darfur, IDPs protest PDF Print E-mail

wfp.jpg The IDPs in Darfur camps protested against the decision of the World Food Programme to reduce the food aid delivery by 50%.   Speaking to Miraya FM, Ahmed Atim, a native leader in Abu-Shouk IDP camp in North Darfur, said that the IDPs will suffer from the reduction of food rations.

The WFP had earlier announced the reduction of food rations by 50% due to the insecurity in Darfur States.
