We are chasing Khalil, Military Spokesperson says |

The Spokesperson of the Sudan Armed Forces, Brigadier General, Mohammed Osman Al-Aghbash, said that the armed forces is still pursuing the Leader of the Justice and Equality Movement, Dr. Khalil Ibrahim, in Northern Darfur State borders.
Brigadier Al-Aghbash said that Dr. Ibrahim together with about 150 of his fighters in 15 Toyota land-cruisers are in one of the Mountains in Northern Darfur. He said that it is possible that he can be caught at any time.
Security Authorities meanwhile imposed tight security this morning in the western part of Omdruman by deploying heavy military troops.
Eyewitnesses said that the security authorities have been searching Umbada residential area in west Omdruman.
The security arrested a number of people suspected of being behind the Omdruman events.
The Justice and Equality Movement carried out attacks on Omrduman last Saturday.
