AU commences mediations between Sudan and Chad PDF Print E-mail

The chief of the African Union Jean Ping; has started talks with the Chadian President Idris Dibby, in N’djamena. 
Mr. Ping will later-on visit Khartoum to meet the Sudanese president Omar Al- Basheer, in an attempt to solve the crises between the two neighbors.


The AU Chief expressed his worries over the Humanitarian situations in Darfur.


He added that he is trying to ease the diplomatic tension resulted from the recent Omdurman attacks, curried out by the Justice and Equality Movement.
