Foreign Ministry asks Chadian ambassador to leave the country PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 14 May 2008
The ministry of foreign affairs summoned the Chadian ambassador to Khartoum, and asked him to leave the country after Khartoum has terminated its diplomatic ties with N’djamena. The ministry has also demanded the Chadian authorities to facilitate the closure of the Sudanese embassy in Chad. The minister of Justice Abdu Al-Basit Sabdarat has affirmed that the legal organs in his ministry started the procedures associated with the trails for those who have allegedly carried out the Omdurman attacks. He added that the minister will guarantee the detainees rights of having fair trails as president Al-Basheer has pledged.
