Khartoum extends curfew to 1000 hours in the morning of Sunday |

The Governor of the Khartoum State, Abdel Halim Ismail Al-Muta'afi, says that the curfew imposed on Khartoum on Monday 1700 local time is extended upto 1000 local time in the morning, instead of 0600 hours.
The Sudan Armed Forces says that it repulsed and chased the group of the Justice and Equality Movement which entered Khartoum earlier on Monday out of Khartoum.
The National Sudanese television broadcast pictures of the burnt vechiles and the dead bodies of the Justice and Equality Movement in the streets of Omrduman.
Eyewitnesses in the Khartoum say that the situation in the town is stable, however, some reported heavy fire and shots are being heard in parts of Omdruman.
The US Administration said that it was very concerned with the outbreak of the violence in Khartoum between the rebels and the government troops.
The Administration urged both sides to exercise restraint.
