SPLM confirms completion of preparations for its Second National Convention in Juba |

The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement said that all preparations to hold its Second National Convention on the eleventh of this month in Juba are complete.
Speaking to the press in Khartoum, the Deputy Chairman of the SPLM-North Sector, Yassir Saeed Arman, added that 500 of the convention’s 1500 members are from the north sector.
He pointed out that 25% of the members are women. Yassir Arman, moreover, affirmed that the movement’s leading figures in Al-Ghadarif State will participate in the convention.
He revealed that those who provoked disagreement in the region are not SPLM members.
The SPLM Interim Council will meet before the movement second convention start its works.
