merikh_merecksud.jpgIn sports, within CECAFA tournament, Sudan's Al Merrikh football team has beaten Kartleh of Djibouti by six goals to one in a match played on Thursday at Al Merrikh stadium in Omdurman. Meanwhile, Mathare United of Kenya also achieved a victory over Rwanda's Atrako by two-goals-to-one.

ICC launches radio station in Central African Republic PDF Print E-mail

icc.jpgThe International Criminal Court (ICC) has announced that it will launch its first radio outreach program in Sango, Central African Republic next Monday. In a statement released today, the Court said that the Radio Outreach Series called "Understanding the International Criminal Court" is designed to educate the population of the Central African Republic on the role, mandate, operation and the activities of The Hague based tribunal.

Speaking to Miraya FM, Hamdein said that the Misseriya will support any initiative for strengthening the social relations, as long as it is clear and has no hidden agenda.

bashir_qadafi.jpgThe President of the Republic of Sudan, Omer Al Bashir, arrived on Tuesday in the Libyan Capital of Tripoli to participate in the 13th ordinary session of the African Union assembly which will start in Sirte today. The summit witnesses disagreements on the stance of several African countries on the African Union's position of withdrawing from the International Criminal Court.
