Warmer diplomatic ties between Chad and Sudan, Foreign Minister says

A thaw in diplomatic tension could usher in a new era of   diplomatic relations between Chad and Sudan as  Chadian President, Idriss Deby arrived in Khartoum on Monday to begin bilateral talks with President Omar Al Bashir. Jimmy Carter in Sudan for 5 day visit

Jimmy Carter, former US President and Chairman of Carter Center, arrived in Khartoum on Monday for a five day visit.   Head of the Center’s Field Office in Sudan , Graham Alison, told Miraya FM that Carter will spend two days in Khartoum and two days in Juba .   In Khartoum , Carter will meet with President Basher, the National Election Commission (NEC) and politicians from different parties.
